Admission Process
International Visa Students
- Complete a T.I.A. Application Form. Fax, mail, or e-mail your completed Application Form ( Fulltime Parttime ) to Toronto International Academy.
- The registration fee (CDN$ 350) and the payment of tuition fees is required at the time of application. The registration and administration fee is Non-Refundable.
Please make the check payable to Toronto International Academy by certified bank draft or money order. - Applicants must submit the following:
- Application Form
- Original transcripts of school records from the current year and the last two years.
- Immunization Record (Proof of vaccination against tuberculosis, mumps, measles, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus and polio)
Private health insurance coverage for the duration of the study period is a must.
Medical insurance can be purchased through T.I.A. - Proof of Paid Tuition (Bank Receipt)
- Student Visa
Note: Once your registration and payment have been received, we will send you an Acceptance Letter, receipt and confirmation for acceptance.
International students must apply for and receive a Study Permit from a Canadian Embassy or Consulate before leaving his/her home country to attend a school in Canada. Student Authorizations (student visas) are not required for English language courses that last less than six months.
Local Students

- An administration fee of CDN $150 and the payment of tuition fee is required at the time of application. Please make the check payable to Toronto International Academy by certified bank draft or money order. The application fee is Non-Refundable.
- Copies of transcripts of school records from the current year are required for prerequisite courses. Also submit a copy of your student identification (i.e. Passport, Birth Certificate or Student ID).
Transferring To TIA?
TIA is an accredited private high school which grants the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. We welcome all students from public, catholic, and private schools in Ontario, other provinces, and countries. Transferring to TIA from your school is much simpler than you think, so contact us now before it is too late.
