May 29, 2017 - Nothing symbolises the beginning of summertime fun quite like TIA’s annual Wonderland Trip.

On a sunny Monday, TIA students made sure they took advantage of this event to finally relax, kick back, and head to Canada’s premier amusement park for endless rollercoaster adrenaline pumping fun. The school’s last semester was surely tough on everyone, but they all got through it, and certainly deserved a reward.

“This is my first time at Wonderland, and I’m having so much fun! We get to use the rides as much as we like, and I’ve already been on 7!”said Han, a grade 11 student, with excitement, as his friends were chatting about loudly behind him. One of them leaned over Han’s shoulder and interjected, “School’s important, but so is some down time!”

The students spent the morning and most of the afternoon on rides, activities, simple strolls around the amusement park, and enjoying the various food offered all around. For some it was a new great experience in Canada, as they got a chance to witness some more aspects of Canadian culture.

As the day came to an end, everyone was back on the bus and headed to the school, and then back home, before the next day’s school began again. They still had a whole week of class left to go through, but it wasn’t long until the school year’s final semester would come to an end!
